White Cut
should a small cut look white when healing?
I cut my thumb tonight with an xacto knife…idiot..a small piece of skin kind of flaps. I washed my thumb, put pressure on with a paper towel, and put some antibacterial ointment on it to help keep it from infection, and I wrapped it with a thick band-aid. I’ve changed my band-aid twice and put more ointment on it. The cut looked white, and my roommate tells me that means its healing. Is this true? Am I doing everything right here?
Yeah…it’s probably from the cut getting moist under the band-aid. If it starts getting red or itchy..then you should be concerned.
